Treasurer's Report
In his report, Covenant Treasurer Dean Lundgren thanked delegates and all local Covenant congregations for what he described as "outstanding financial support" of various relief and compassion initiatives. Covenanters contributed some $5.7 million in response to the December 2004 tsunami, the hurricanes that subsequently ravaged broad areas along southern coastal and inland areas of the United States, and three years of support for various Covenant World Relief projects.
"We also witnessed good numerical growth in the number of women pastors, including those in senior pastor positions," Lundgren told delegates. He likewise celebrated the expansion in ethnic diversity within the denomination, pointing out that more than 21 percent of all Covenant congregations are now ethnic or multi-cultural.

2007 Coordinated Budget
A 2007 Coordinated Budget of $13.5 million was approved by delegates, with $9.1 million to be sought from local Covenant churches in support of shared denominational ministries.
Lundgren reported to delegates that the Coordinated Budget for the just-completed 2005 fiscal year was balanced. He attributed that in part to what he described as "good expense controls" on the part of those who administer various portions of the budget.
