Missionary Daughter Continues Her Recovery

FRESNO, CA (February 14) - Seventeen-year-old Amy Haworth is doing "remarkably well," but remains hospitalized following an accident a week ago Sunday, according to a local Covenant church spokesperson.

The daughter of Evangelical Covenant Church missionaries Jay and Ellen Haworth, Amy reportedly suffered a dislocated hip, which was put back into place following the accident, as well as damage to her liver. Reports today indicate the liver continues to heal and surgery is not anticipated at this time.
