Memorial Service Set April 1 for Carroll Lind

NORTHBROOK, IL (January 25) - A memorial service for retired Evangelical Covenant Church pastor Carroll Lind will be conducted on Saturday, April 1, at 2:30 p.m. at Covenant Village of Northbrook, 2625 Techny Road in Northbrook.

Lind died January 6 at Covenant Village and Brandel Care Center in Northbrook. He was 87.

Lind was a member of North Park Covenant Church in Chicago. He served Covenant churches in Nebraska, Massachusetts, Michigan, and Illinois. In addition to his pastoral service, he worked from 1971 to 1983 at Covenant Press in Chicago.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise, in 2001. Other survivors include a son, Jim, who lives in Ferndale, Michigan.
