Fourth Asia Covenant Consultation Concludes

TAIPEI, TAIWAN (October 11, 2005) - Some 80 delegates began returning to their homes following the conclusion of the Fourth Asia Covenant Churches Consultation that began last Wednesday.

Delegates represented Asian Covenant churches and ministries in Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Laos, the Philippines, India, China, South Korea and New Zealand. Theme of this year's consultation was "Reaching Youth."

The closing address was delivered by Curt Peterson, executive minister of the Department of World Mission of the Evangelical Covenant Church (see accompanying photo of Peterson and his interpreter).
