Service September 18 for Dwight Haglund
BATAVIA, IL (September 16, 2005) - A memorial service will be conducted
September 18 for retired Evangelical Covenant Church pastor Dwight
Haglund, who died Wednesday at Delnor Hospital in Batavia.
The service will be at 3 p.m. at the Batavia Covenant Church, 1314 W.
Main St., according to Larry Dieckman, chaplain at The Holmstad in
Batavia, where the Haglunds have resided. There will be no additional
visitation times observed, Dieckman said. Haglund served as a part-time
chaplain at The Holmstad.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn, and daughters Diane Haglund and
Elaine (Haglund) Schulthies. Letters of condolence may be sent to Mrs.
Haglund at The Holmstad, 700 W. Fabyan Parkway, Batavia, IL, 60510.
