Alpine Center Seeking New Executive Director

BLUE JAY, CA (September 15, 2005) - Alpine Camp and Conference Center is seeking a visionary, experienced administrator and team leader for the position of executive director.

Alpine is a year-round facility owned by the Pacific Southwest Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church. It is located in the Lake Arrowhead area of the San Bernardino Mountains in Southern California.

Responsibilities include areas of team development, financial planning, management and fund development. The successful candidate must be able to prioritize and multitask and must demonstrate a commitment to multiethnic ministry.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree with a concentration in biblical studies, camping/recreation and/or Christian ministries; at least seven years of experience in full-time vocational ministry with at least five years in Christian camping, including some administration; experience in supervision of direct reports; and experience in the areas of responsibility noted earlier.
