Florida Association Honors Covenant Retirement Communities Exec
TALLAHASSEE, FL (August 15, 2005) - Terri Cunliffe, vice president of health and wellness for Covenant Retirement Communities (CRC) has been honored by the Florida Association of Homes for the Aging (FAHA) for her "extraordinary contributions" to the statewide organization and its membership.
The FAHA presented Cunliffe with the chairman's award - one of the top honors bestowed by the organization - at its annual banquet July 27.
Cunliffe has been a leader with FAHA since 1999. She has served on a dozen of its committees and task forces, just completed a two-year term as treasurer, and was recently elected senior vice chair.
FAHA chairman Scott Boord praised Cunliffe for being an innovator who is always thinking of new ways to improve care, services and administrative efficiencies. FAHA's members are not-for-profit continuing care retirement communities, assisted living residences and nursing homes. Its goal is to assist members in providing the highest quality of services to the residents they serve by providing up-to-date information, education, representation, group services and networking opportunities.
As vice president of health and wellness for CRC, Cunliffe coordinates corporate systems, procedures and policies for health and wellness at CRC's fourteen communities. A Florida-licensed nursing home administrator, Cunliffe has a bachelor's degree in long-term care administration from the University of Minnesota and a master's degree in health services administration from Nova Southeastern University.
