CBC Seeks Candidates for Executive Position
STRATHMORE, ALBERTA (August 10, 2005) - Candidates are being sought for the position as first executive vice president of Covenant Bible College (CBC) International. The position was created as part of a management redesign of CBC International, according to its president, Neil Josephson.This position will be responsible for enhancing and coordinating the discipling mission as well as the management of each CBC campus. Responsibilities include coaching faculty, overseeing the financial structure and functions of CBC and representing the institution to various constituencies. As a member of the senior management team, this position will participate in defining strategic directions for the college and will serve as an ex officio member of the board of CBC International.
Qualifications include graduate degree(s) in theology, leadership or higher education; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; significant experience in leading others within a church and/or educational context; a proven ability to manage multiple ministry tasks and priorities; and a personal commitment to a life of Christian discipleship and to the mission of CBC.
