David Cairns New Pilgrim Pines Director

SWANZEY, NH (March 28, 2005) - David Cairns has begun his ministry as executive director at Pilgrim Pines Conference Center. He is the former associate director of Covenant Pines in McGregor, Minnesota, where he served for five years.

"I'm excited to be in a place where God calls," Cairns says. Cairns says he is interested in learning more of the camp's history as a foundation to continue to advance its ministry. "One of my passions is that we are an extension of the local church ministry. How can we better serve the church?"

"I'm also looking forward to helping the 50th anniversary celebration that will be in three years," Cairns says. Planning for that event has already started. He assumed his new role March 7. To learn more about the camp and its programs, visit the center's website at Pilgrim Pines.
