'Kid Quest' Retreats Reach 130 Children

WINDSOR, CO (March 15, 2005) - Students from Covenant Bible College-Midwest recently conducted children's weekend retreats known as "Kid Quest" in two churches that are part of the Midwest Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church.

Kid Quest The retreats were held February 4-6 at Countryside Covenant Church in McPherson, Kansas, and at Lifespring Covenant Church in Loveland, Colorado.

The CBC students were able to build relationships with 130 young people through the retreats, which ran Friday night through Sunday morning. The students ranged in ages from kindergarten to fifth grade. This year's theme was "Unlikely Superheroes" and the Bible stories centered on events such as David and Goliath, Jesus feeding the five thousand and the paralytic's friends. "Kid's Quest" is a weekend of fun, energy, creativity, community and sharing the love of Jesus with the children.
