Clergy Women Elect New Board Members
CHICAGO, IL (February 22, 2005) - New members have been elected to the board of the Association for Covenant Clergy Women (ACCW) during its annual meeting.The following were elected: President Catherine Gilliard of Stone Mountain, Georgia; Vice President Dawn Burnett of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Secretary Rose Cornelious of Barboursville, Virginia; Vice Secretary Ann Maleski of Chicago, Illinois; Treasurer, Cherie Harris of Olympia Fields, Illinois; Vice Treasurer Karen Lichlyter-Klein of Paxton, Illinois; and member-at-large Kirsten Nelson Wagenius of St. Cloud, Minnesota. The newly-elected officers join incumbents Julia Knox of Chicago and Katherine Choi of Northbrook, Illinois.
The association met January 31 to worship and conduct business. The purpose of ACCW is to provide a forum for concerns unique to ordained, commissioned or licensed clergy women in the Evangelical Covenant Church.
