New Facility Already Short of Space

LOVELAND, CO (February 14, 2005) - Despite having just moved into a building funded with the largest loan ever made by National Covenant Properties (NCP), Crossroads Covenant Church already needs to add more space.

The church, which was planted in 1995, moved into its 47,000-square-foot facility last October. Because the congregation still has not been able to accommodate the increased number of children, the church is adding 11,000 square feet of modular space until it can afford to construct a permanent addition.

"We knew we were going to have this problem," says Executive Pastor Paul Trimble, explaining the church had to wait until it could afford the added space. The initial building was funded in part by a $7 million loan from NCP. The current need is a welcome problem, says Trimble. It's not nearly the hurdle the church has faced since its inception, as members are thankful just to be able to meet in one location.

Until last October, services were held on Saturday nights in one school and on Sundays in another. The youth group met at another location, and the offices occupied yet another space. "It was really bizarre," says Trimble. "It's great to have everyone under one roof."

Continually putting the vision before the congregation was vital to getting people to continue attending despite the unusual meeting arrangements, Trimble says. To learn more about the church and its ministries, visit www.crossroadscolorado.com.
