Ministry Reaches Out to Earthquake Victims
OJIYA, JAPAN (November 4, 2004) - A ministry of food to victims of earthquakes
near Ojiya has helped open doors to sharing faith, reports Covenant
Missionary Jim Peterson following this week's visit to the area.
The food service tent on the Shrine grounds, where team members served
lunch and supper to about 150 people.
Team members serve lunch to a group of hungry residents forced from
their homes by damage from recent earthquakes.
A Nishinaka house that suffered minimal damage, with large plastic tarps
covering damaged areas of the roof to protect the structure from rain.
