Applications Sought for Pilgrim Pines Position

SWANZEY, NH (October 1, 2004) - Pilgrim Pines Conference Center is seeking candidates for the position of executive director. Pilgrim Pines is a year-around ministry of the East Coast Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church, providing a Christian environment for families, retreats, conferences, youth camps and worship gatherings.

Responsibilities include defining a long-term vision, preparing and periodically updating a strategic plan (including a long-term capital fund-raising plan) and preparing an annual operations plan that defines the alignment of programming, staff and financial resources that are consistent with the vision. Other responsibilities are included in the job description, which is available upon request.

Qualifications include, among other things, a personal commitment to and faith in Jesus Christ, maintaining membership in a local Evangelical Covenant church, being credentialed (or committing to become credentialed) by the Department of the Ordered Ministry, possessing an undergraduate degree (or equivalent), and demonstrating a personal commitment to the vision and Christian camping ministries of Pilgrim Pines and its relationship to the East Coast Conference.
