Golf for Youth Event September 13

VISTA, CA (August 21, 2004) - Oak Hills Covenant Church is coordinating its 10th annual Golf Fore Youth fundraising event beginning at 9 a.m. on September 13 at Shadowridge Country Club.

David Daubenspeck, 2004 GFY committee co-chair, stated that the event includes 18 holes of golf (a four-person scramble format), lunch and dinner and other prizes. There will also be a silent and live auction that day. Funds generated by past GFY events have supported scholarships to send inner-city youth to summer camp, supported homeless children/mothers connected with North County Solutions for Change and other church and para-church teen service, leadership and outreach projects. La Jolla Club Golf Company is the premier event sponsor.
