Chicago-area Korean Churches to Dedicate Missionaries

NORTHBROOK, IL (July 9, 2004) - A dedication service for Covenant short-term missionaries Peter and Anna Kim will be held 5 p.m. Sunday at the Korean Central Covenant Church in Northbrook. All the Korean Covenant Churches in the Chicago area are invited to participate and dedicate them as a sending group. The service will be held in Korean. A dinner will follow the service.

The Kims will fly to Asia on July 27. After a stopover in Korea to meet with supporters there, they will begin a two to three year process of language study before beginning their service.

Peter is former associate pastor at the Antioch Korean Covenant Church in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, and was ordained by the Covenant in 2003. Anna has her doctorate in nursing from Rush University, Chicago, Illinois, 2003.
