Michigan Church Seeks Young Adults Pastor
MUSKEGON, MI (June 1, 2004) - Forest Park Covenant Church is accepting
applications for a position as pastor of young adult ministries to focus
on the needs of the young adults between 18 and 30 years of age.
Primary responsibilities include providing opportunities for worship,
fellowship, discipleship, ministry and mission for this age group as
well as joining with other members of the pastoral staff in performing
duties such as communion, hospital visitation, baptism, preaching,
counseling, weddings and funerals as appropriate. This position also
assists in preparing and leading worship for the contemporary morning
worship service.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience
working in various ministries in a church setting and will have earned a
seminary degree. A Master of Divinity degree and/or Covenant Credentials
is preferred. Preaching gifts and experience are desired.
