Applications Sought for Registrar Position
CHICAGO, IL (April 26, 2004) - Applications are being accepted for a full-time temporary position as annual meeting registrar, working in the Department of Administration of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC).This position coordinates all aspects of the ECC annual meeting registration process, assists in the mailing of credential and registration material, photocopies and faxes documents, responds to inquiries, maintains detailed payment records, serves as a member of the Credential Committee and receives, sorts and files related registration information and documents.
The successful candidate must have excellent problem-solving, project management and customer service skills and must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and interpersonal, oral and written communication skills in English. The ability to prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently and set goals and objectives is essential. An associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is required, as is a valid driver's license. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and other database software and e-mail/Internet systems.
