North Park Seeking Candidates for Two Positions

CHICAGO, IL (November 10, 2003) - Applications are being accepted for two positions at North Park University.

Coordinator for Internships and Placement

This position is part of the School of Business and Nonprofit Management. Duties include, but are not limited to, overseeing the business and nonprofit organization internship recruitment and placement process, facilitating the nonprofit student internship seminar, assisting the executive director with the administration of the Nonprofit Leadership Studies program, and organizing both nonprofit and business job fairs.

A bachelor's degree and relevant experience are required.

Director of Counseling

This position addresses the mental health needs of students by providing short-term individual and group counseling to undergraduate students and students in North Park Theological Seminary. The position is responsible for providing education to the campus community concerning emotional, mental and physical health issues relevant to students.

A master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or a related field is required, as is professional licensure in the State of Illinois. Previous experience in higher education is preferred.
