Fund to Aid California Fire Victims

CHICAGO, IL (October 30, 2003) - A special fund has been established by Covenant World Relief to accept donations to aid relief efforts for Evangelical Covenant churches and families affected by fires that have ravaged Southern California.

"We stand ready to help in any way possible and will see that contributions are channeled to areas of need," said Jim Sundholm, Covenant World Relief director. "This is a tragic situation and we hope many Covenanters will be able to assist those in need."

Contributions should be earmarked for California Fire Relief and directed to Covenant World Relief in care of the Evangelical Covenant Church, 5101 N. Francisco Avenue, Chicago, IL, 60625.
