Services Planned for Tim Smith Jr., Son of Covenant Missionaries
GRESHAM, OR (July 3, 2003) - A memorial service is planned for 4 p.m. Sunday
at Powell Valley Covenant Church for Tim Smith Jr. who died this afternoon.
He is the son of Tim and Helen Smith, Covenant missionaries to
Equatorial Guinea who are currently on home assignment. He was
hospitalized after a work-related accident two weeks ago caused
considerable damage to his lungs. He would have celebrated his 23rd
birthday on Sunday. He is survived by his parents, along with sisters
Rebekah and Deborah.
