Trinity (NC) Dedicates New Building

GREENSBORO, NC (May 7, 2003) - Trinity Church dedicated a $2.5 million building addition last Sunday as Donn Engebretson, executive vice president of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC), preached at the morning worship service.

Southeast Conference Supt. Kurt Miericke was also a guest at the event, which had been first scheduled in February and postponed when ice storms blanketed the area. Miericke said the event was a complete success, adding, "With the dedication of their new life center building there was a rededication of the staff and the church (congregation) to the ministry that God has laid before them. It was a very inspiring moment as the whole church processed into the (new) building from the sanctuary at the close of worship. The choir led the way by singing, 'Lift High The Cross.'"

Trinity Church was organized in 1955 and joined the ECC in 1992. Marc Putnam is pastor of the church, which has an average worship attendance of 260. For more information about the church, call 336-299-9402.
