John Notehelfer Recovering Following Surgery

Notehelfer serves as interim executive minister of the Department of World Mission of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Chicago. He is a retired superintendent of the Pacific Southwest Conference.

The six-hour surgery was ordered following tests showing serious arterial blockage, according to his wife, Miriam. Her sister and the couple's two daughters were at the hospital during the surgery. Miriam reports her husband is doing well.
