Five North Park Campus Members Called to Duty

CHICAGO, IL (March 26, 2003) - Five members of the North Park University (NPU) community have recently been called to active duty and are presently serving their country as the United States war with Iraq continues.

Home address and other information is not provided for security reasons. Those recently deployed include:

• Norman Bright, third-year undergraduate student from Chicago
• Irene Benson, nurse practitioner student from Chicago
• Albert Ezell, first-year undergraduate student from Chicago
• Galerius Lee, fourth-year undergraduate student from Calumet City.
• Judy Marshall, visiting assistant professor of nursing, coordinator of the Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Nursing for Registered Nurses Program

"We will be praying without fail for the safety of these members of the North Park community at every university chapel service until they return," says Alise Barrymore, campus pastor and dean of university ministries. "May God watch over them and keep them safe."
