Damaris Adame, a short-term missionary serving CIPE (the Confederacion de
Iglesias del Pacto Evangelico) in the area of Christian education,
coordinated the Christian education program, which included 30 participants
and culminated in a three-day event for children, "Missionaries of Peace,"
which drew a total of 54 children.
Puppetry and mime combined with singing and Bible activities kept the
children enthralled, said CIPE representative Nancy Reed. The children used
their newly taught skills to evangelize others in their neighborhood. Other
participants returned to their homes committed to evangelize their local
communities, according to Reed.
