This position is accountable for directing and coordinating the overall
operations of the skilled nursing facility and the assisted living
facility, establishing and implementing all policies, procedures and
governing agency requirements in order to insure a safe, secure retirement
and health facility.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning and
implementing the annual operating plan and capital plan (budget),
monitoring operating revenues and expenses, coordinating all personnel
functions and maintaining physical plant and property in maximum optimal
condition. This position is also responsible to redevelop the assisted
living program and successfully open the newly constructed assisted living
building.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor of arts or science degree (a
masters degree in an appropriately related field is highly desirable), a
minimum of three years of experience as an assistant administrator, a
management leadership trainee, administrative assistant or other management
position with leadership responsibilities of a broad scope and work
experience in a major supervisory capacity. Requirements in areas of
education and experience for state nursing home administrator's licensure
must be met.
