New Church Plant Dedicated in Chile
VILLARICA, CHILE (November 11, 2002) - Thirty people were in attendance November 3 for the dedication of Mision Betesda, a new Covenant church under the leadership of pastor Osvaldo Troncoso.
Troncoso and Hector Munoz, a Covenant pastor in Concepcion, preached at
the
dedication service in Villarica. The church has received help from the
Covenant congregation in Concepcion, which has sent Cristian Luengo and
Lily Olate as missionaries to assist in the church plant. Others from
Villarica and nearby Puerto Montt have also committed to help.
Mision Betesda is part of the Confederation of Latin American Covenant Churches (CIPE). It is located 200 miles south of Concepcion, one of the largest cities in Chile.
