Bucknell Recruits Tulsa (OK) Basketball Player
TULSA, OK (October 31, 2002) - John Clark of Redeemer Covenant Church recently
gave a verbal commitment to play basketball at Bucknell University, a
Division I school in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
Once the national recruiting signing period begins for the NCAA, Clark will
sign a letter of intent to play for the Bison. He has been offered a full
athletic scholarship, said John's father, Bill, who is the senior pastor at
Redeemer Covenant. Clark, a 6-foot-7 senior forward, averaged 20 points and
11 rebounds for Cascia Hall Preparatory School last winter. He is also an
honor student.
Bucknell finished 13-16 overall during the 2001-02 basketball season and
recorded an 8-6 record in the Patriot League, a conference that includes
some of the top academic universities in the eastern part of the United
States.
