Eighteen Graduate from Alaska Christian College

SOLDOTNA, AK (May 9, 2002) - The first academic year of Alaska Christian College (ACC) officially ended last weekend with the graduation of 18 people.

Before the graduation, students visited six Covenant churches during a week of ministry before attending the Evangelical Covenant Church of Alaska (ECCAK) Annual Meeting in early April. Students also participated in ACC's "Uinniq" Weekend April 19-21, as teens from various villages and cities visited the campus.

The future looks bright for ACC, said President Keith Hamilton. A total of 48 students have applied for the fall session.

ACC is preparing for its next building phase - construction of a 1,500-square-foot duplex. Nine teams are visiting Alaska this summer to help with the building project, which will enable ACC to house up to 35 students.

Alaska Christian College is a one-year Bible college. For more information, call the school at 907-260-7422.
