Olson, Gustafson Nominated for Second Terms
CHICAGO, IL (March 17, 2002) - Two executive ministers have been nominated by the Executive Board to serve additional four-year terms in ministry areas of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC).
Doreen Olson was nominated to serve a second term as executive minister of the Department of Christian Formation, while James Gustafson was nominated for a second term as executive minister of the Department of World Mission.
Both individuals will stand for re-election during the 117th Annual Meeting in June in Keystone, Colorado.
"I am delighted that the Executive Board has affirmed both Doreen and Jim and the work they have accomplished," said Glenn Palmberg, ECC president.
