New York Church Seeks Music/Worship Director

JAMESTOWN, NY (February 26, 2002) - Zion Covenant Church in Jamestown is looking for an experienced musician and worship leader to direct its music and worship ministry on a part-time basis (15-20 hours per week).

Responsibilities for the position include accompanying worship on organ and/or piano, directing the chancel choir, recruiting and supporting multiple ensembles (both voice and instrumental), and coordinating music and worship ministries (including sacred dance, drama, and seasonal events). The ideal person should be comfortable working with a wide variety of musical styles (from classical to contemporary). Compensation is commensurate with experience.
