Milwaukee School of Engineering Overcomes Vikings
MILWAUKEE, WI (December 27, 2001) - Sneed Deaderick, Jason Collins and Tyrone Hueston scored 14 points each, but North Park University made just 13-of-27 foul shots and dropped a 46-34 halftime lead in a 81-76 nonleague loss to Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) December 21 at US Cellular Arena.
North Park ended the 2001 portion of its season 4-5. The Vikings play again on January 7, a 7:30 p.m. home game against Judson College of Elgin, Illinois.
North Park made 17-of-31 field goal tries in the first half to take a 12-point lead, but the Vikings hit just 7-of-19 free throws in the final 20 minutes while MSOE made its comeback. Tezai McCain of MSOE led all scorers with 18 points.
