Services Pending for Pastor Thomas Rousseau

BATAVIA, IL (November 7, 2001) - Services are pending for Thomas Rousseau, an Evangelical Covenant Church pastor serving as marketing director for the Holmstad retirement community. Rousseau died Tuesday.

He began working with the Holmstad this spring after serving two years as pastor of Redeemer Covenant Church of Cary, North Carolina. He previously served the Evangelical Covenant Church in Hudson, Ohio.

A special memorial service was scheduled for today for Holmstad staff and residents. Southeast Conference Supt. Kurt Miericke requests prayer for Rousseau's wife, Karen, and three children, as well as Redeemer Covenant Church in the Southeast Conference, where Rousseau served before resigning last December.
