Bioethics Lecture November 3 at North Park
CHICAGO, IL (October 18, 2001) - Dr. Arthur Jones, director of Lawndale Christian Health
Center in Chicago, will present "Healthcare for the Urban Poor: A Vanishing Dream" on November 3 as part of the Anderson Kim Bioethics Lectures at North Park University.
Jones will speak at 9:30 a.m. at Anderson Chapel, focusing on how his organization provides holistic, affordable and quality healthcare to an under-served community. The lecture is free and open to the public.
The Jones lecture is one of three bioethics lectures presented at North Park. They are organized by a number of faculty members in various departments and are used to provide education and discussion on important ethical issues in medicine and the sciences.
