Covenant Ministers Chorus Performs in Stockholm

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN (September 27, 2001) - The Covenant Ministers Chorus sang during the morning worship service of Immanuelskyrkan last Sunday in Stockholm, according to a report from LeRoy and Colleen Carlson, who are part of the touring group.

This was the fourth concert of an 11-concert tour. A total of 45 people left on or around September 17 for a 17-day tour of several European countries. The schedule calls for concerts in Norway, Sweden, Germany, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

In Oslo, the group sang America the Beautiful across from the American Embassy where the entire fence was lined with flowers, candles and messages of sympathy following the September 11 terrorist assaults in the United States.
