Seniors Mission Trip Planned to Monterrey, Mexico

MONTERREY, MEXICO (August 29, 2001) - Merge Ministries is offering a mission trip for seniors only (age 50 and older) October 27 through November 3, involving light construction and "people ministries."

Cost for the trip is $590. The fee does not include transportation to or return transportation from McAllen, Texas, where the trip will originate.

An additional four-day cultural and historical tour of central Mexico is available at an added cost of $450, running from November 3 through November 7. All related costs for the tour are included.

A minimum of 10 people is required before the trip can be confirmed, according to Barbara Johnson at Covenant Mission Connection of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
