Engebretson, Kersten Assume New Duties

CHICAGO, IL (August 1, 2001) - Donn N. Engebretson has assumed his new duties as executive vice president of the Evangelical Covenant Church and has relocated to the administrative offices at 5101 North Francisco Avenue.

Also relocating to the administrative offices building is Deani Jordan, who serves as administrative assistant to the executive vice president.

Replacing Engebretson as executive minister of the Department of the Ordered Ministry is David Kersten, who also assumed his new duties today. The ministry offices are located at 3311 West Foster Avenue, Chicago, 60625.

Kersten's administrative assistant will be Nancy Fisher, who has served in the former Office of the Secretary of the denomination - now the vice president's office for administration. Fisher will begin her new duties August 13. Dotty Anderson, who served Engebretson as administrative assistant for a number of years, will continue to work out of the ministry office until her retirement at the end of December.
