Short-Term Mission Prospects Complete Orientation
TECHNY, IL (July 25, 2001) - Ten prospective short-term missionaries recently gathered at a retreat center here for a week of orientation.
The event is designed to provide a spiritual retreat experience as well as help prepare short-term
missionaries for one to two years of cross-cultural ministry. Resource persons from the Covenant who shared with participants included John Weborg, Bill Orris, Debbie Blue and Roland Boyce. Other career missionaries and short-term alumni also participated.
All of the short-term missionaries will leave for their assigned areas of service during the next one to two months.
