Preparations Nearing Completion for Triennial X

ASHEVILLE, NC (July 22, 2001) - Final details are nearing completion in preparation for Triennial X August 2-5 at the Ridgecrest Conference Center, an event sponsored by Covenant Women Ministries that is expected to attract nearly a thousand women from throughout the worldwide Covenant.

Covenant Communications is working with onsite volunteers to share information and photos during the four-day event. That information will appear as part of the regular Covenant News Service report on this web site.

Keynote speaker for this event is Cindy Secrest McDowell, well-known author and much-sought-after speaker who has written Amazed By Grace and Women's Spiritual Passages, among other popular titles.

Dr. Linda Belleville will be leading the daily bible studies and devotional times, with Kathy Brawley, executive director of Covenant Bible College-Canada, leading the worship. Belleville is professor of biblical literature at North Park Theological Seminary. Well-known Christian singer Kim Hill is scheduled to make a guest appearance August 4.

Speaking during the concluding Sunday worship service is Ruth Hill, executive minister of Covenant Women Ministries. A number of workshops will be conducted, complementing the event theme Keeping in Step With the Spirit.
