Buescher Performing Well in WNBA Competition

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (July 11, 2001) - Erin Buescher, who grew up in Northern California and was part of the Marin Covenant Church youth group, is averaging 6.5 points per game for the Minnesota Lynx of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).

Buescher, who finished her college career at The Master's College in southern California, is ranked 13th in the WNBA in blocked shots and has averaged 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game as a 6-foot-2 inch guard. She totaled a career-high 16 points against Houston June 30 and has started 10 of 15 games for the 5-10 Lynx.
