Covenant Point Camp to Celebrate 75th Year
IRON RIVER, MI (July 6, 2001) - Covenant Point Bible Camp will celebrate its 75th anniversary with a special service July 7.Lon Allison, who works with the nationally known Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College, will be the guest speaker for the 10:45 a.m. celebration service. Allison previously served as director of evangelism and prayer for the Evangelical Covenant Church. A special luncheon will follow the service.
Covenant Point was founded in 1926 by the Young People's Association of the Great Lakes Conference. Programs have expanded from a one-week camp to summer activities that serve 800 campers and 3,000 guests.
