Proposed Constitution, Bylaws Approved by Wide Margin
ROSEMONT, IL (June 29, 2001) - BULLETIN
By an overwhelming vote margin, the proposed Constitution, Bylaws and Transition Plan of the Evangelical Covenant Church were approved at 11:08 a.m. today by delegates attending the 116th Annual Meeting of the denomination.
The standing vote came at the conclusion of lively debate and the submission of several proposed amendments - all but one were ruled by the meeting moderator to be of a substantive nature and were ordered spread on the minutes of this Annual Meeting for consideration at the 2002 Annual Meeting in Keystone, Colorado.
