ROSEMONT, IL (June 27, 2001) - Stories and other information coming out of the 116th Annual Meeting of the Evangelical Covenant Church will be found under the special link elsewhere on this page.
News staff from the Department of Communication will be covering the major events, business meetings, awards and other events, sharing stories and photographs throughout each of the meeting days. Coverage also will include live broadcasting of the three evening worship services, which will be posted on the site for later viewing as well.
Pre-meeting activities began Tuesday and Wednesday with the Covenant Ministerium meeting and the Covenant Women Ministries luncheon. A dinner for retired Covenant pastors preceded the Wednesday evening opening worship service.
Activities continue Thursday and Friday and are scheduled to conclude no later than 4 p.m. Saturday.
