Mary's House and Joseph's House Dedicated

NORTON SHORES, MI (May 23, 2001) - Covenant Enabling Residences of Michigan, Inc., conducted a dedication ceremony May 20 for Mary's House and Joseph's House for developmentally disabled adults, with an estimated 500 people in attendance.

Glenn R. Palmberg, president of the Evangelical Covenant Church, Paul Peterson, president of Covenant Ministries of Benevolence and Great Lakes Conference Supt. David S. Dahlberg were present for the event, along with Norton Shores Mayor Nancy Crandall.

The first residents of the homes moved into the facilities two weeks earlier. A total of 12 residents will eventually move in within the next four to six weeks, said a spokesperson for the facility.
