Sunday Dedication Planned for Enabling Residences

MUSKEGON, MI (May 14, 2001) - Glenn R. Palmberg, president of the Evangelical Covenant Church, will be among the special guests participating in the dedication of Mary's House and Joseph's House this Sunday, May 20, in Muskegon.

Others scheduled to attend the 3 p.m. ceremony include Paul Peterson, president of Covenant Ministries of Benevolence, and David S. Dahlberg, superintendent of the Great Lakes Conference.

Mary's House and Joseph's House are homes for developmentally disabled adults that have received assistance from nearby Forest Park Covenant Church in Muskegon. They are part of Covenant Enabling Residences of Michigan, Inc.

The first residents of the facility, which cost more than $600,000, moved in last month. A fundraising dinner will be held June 8 in Muskegon to raise money for landscaping the new buildings.
