Alaska Christian College Property Purchase Completed

SOLDOTNA, AK (April 29, 2001) - Alaska Christian College (ACC) has raised $25,000 for the payment needed to secure its new property, according to ACC President Keith Hamilton.

"The Lord has surely supplied our needs," Hamilton said, noting that keys have been transferred and the purchase is final. "I look forward to exciting days ahead as we now need to fit and furnish this wonderful gift to ACC."

Two months ago, a $350,000 offer for the purchase of 11 acres of land and a building had been accepted by Central Peninsula Counseling services. The college and the State of Alaska signed an agreement, with the college required to provide the $25,000 down payment.

Enrollment applications are being accepted for the start of classes in the fall. Full-time faculty positions have been filled and staff meetings will begin in June.
