New Mission Trips Available for Individuals, Families

CHICAGO, IL (April 27, 2001) - Covenant Mission Connection and Merge Ministries, part of the Evangelical Covenant Church, are offering the following mission trips for individuals and/or families.

Monterrey, Mexico: July 21-28. Minimum: 10 persons. Cost: $200/person/week plus transportation and work project materials. Deadline to apply: June 1.

Guatemala (San Juan de la Lagune): August 14-26. Project: Construction and people ministries in a Christian School. Cost: $370/person for 12 days plus transportation and $100 for work project materials. Arrangements can be made to come for one week with the price reduced accordingly. Arrangements can be made to add persons to this team up to August 1.

Reynosa, Mexico: October 6-13. Minimum: 10 persons. Project: Construction and people ministries at a Covenant Camp. Cost: $160/person plus transportation and work project materials. Deadline to apply: September 1.

Monterrey, Mexico (for seniors only - 50+): October 27-November 3. Minimum: 10 persons. Project: Light construction and people ministries at a church. Cost: $590/person for all costs, including work project materials and transportation to McAllen, Texas. Deadline to apply: September 1.

Mexico tour option: November 3-7. Option of additional four-day cultural and historical tour of central Mexico. Additional cost: $450, all costs included.
