North Park Music Ensembles at Symphony Hall

CHICAGO, IL (March 21, 2001) - Music ensembles from the School of Music at North Park University will combine talents at Symphony Center in Chicago for an April 1 concert celebrating Music Around the World.

The ensembles will present a program including Dvorak's New World Symphony and a major choral work by Paul Basler entitled Missa Kenya. Rollo Dilworth will conduct the North Park University Choir and Gospel Choir. Karen Bauer will conduct the Chamber Singers and Tom Zelle will conduct the North Park University Orchestra.

Tickets are priced from $12-$20 and can be purchased Mondays through Fridays, from 10 a.m. until noon and again from 1-4 p.m. in the office of Sarah Lundberg at Wilson Hall on the North Park University campus. Tickets may also be purchased by telephone from Lundberg at 773-244-5625 or at the Symphony Hall ticket box the day of the performance.
