Physics Professor Featured as Nyvall Lecturer

CHICAGO, IL (March 15, 2001) - Lawrence W. Martin, Ph.D., professor of physics at North Park University, will present Never Listen to a Physicist: Advice from the Ignorant, the Illiterate and the Inscrutable as part of North Park Theological Seminary's Nyvall Lectureship March 20.

The two-part presentation begins at 9 a.m. at Isaacson Chapel, 3225 West Foster Avenue in Chicago, and is free and open to the public. The Nyvall Lectureship is offered each spring to stimulate interest in the interpretation of the Christian message for the contemporary world. It was inaugurated in 1951 in memory of David Nyvall, who served the school both as teacher and president.
