North Park Names New Campus Pastor
CHICAGO (December 7, 2000) - Alise Barrymore has been hired as campus pastor at North Park University and will assume her duties in January.Barrymore, who has served as minister for youth spiritual life at New Faith Baptist Church in Matteson, Illinois, will become the regular chapel speaker and will provide pastoral care to the campus community, particularly to students. She will begin her speaking responsibilities at the January 16 chapel service.
Following her graduation from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, Barrymore earned a Master of Divinity degree from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree from the same institution, concentrating on adolescent spirituality.
